Quality Handcrafted Furniture
These tables are made with wood reclaimed from Meek's hometown of Huntington, WV. Reclaim Appalachia is doing a lot of good by putting out-of-work coal miners to work deconstructing old buildings among other things. To support them in their efforts, we buy materials that they've salvaged from Southern West Virginia. These tables have a rustic texture and color that preserves the character that in some cases took 100 years to develop. These tables aren't stained. Finish is applied to bring back the beauty of the wood. This table features our braced leg base.

This custom Hometown Table features our trestle base and also has a steel pipe bracing the legs adding an industrial look. See those cracks in top? We love preserving that character and to keep them from splitting further we use a 2 part epoxy resin that fills the gap and will hold the table solid for decades.
These are tables that we've made from custom orders. When you see a style you like just send us a message through the contact form link at the top of the page. We can build with trestle bases, straight leg bases, X-leg bases, and stay tuned because we're working on some hand turned pedestal bases right now.
This buffet was custom built with reclaimed materials to match the 9 ft trestle table above.
This is a very special piece. A wonderful client salvaged wood from her grandfather's barn and gave us the privilege of building a memorial piece. This is absolutely gorgeous red oak that is at least 100 years old. We were able to mill it down, clean it up, and preserve the rough sawn character in the wood. We used some of the metal from the roof to make the doors and added some antique drawer pulls to finish it off. If you've got some old wood laying around, odds are we can make it pretty.
This island was another customer order. The base is made entirely from reclaimed wood salvaged from a barn in Souderton, PA. The top was made from a single 12 foot slab of Walnut.
